Renovation and extension of existing campus library by Maya Lin Studio and Shepley Bulfinch. Roschmann has been contracted to construct the signature timber curtain wall for the extensions, known as the "jewel boxes." Buro Ehring is serving in a design assist role, performing structural design, thermal analysis, and shop drawing production.
Responsibilities Include: Drafted all design assist, shop drawing, and performance mock-up drawings throughout the project. Performed U-Value calculations and condensation risk analysis for the curtain wall system in THERM. Attended weekly coordination meetings with the design team. Served as primary point of contact between Buro Ehring and Roschmann Group team.
