New pedestrian bridge completed in 2019 as part of the greater re-development of Arlington’s Ballston Quarter. Roschmann Group was contracted to construct the steel bridge structure and glass cladding. Buro Ehring served in a design assist role, performing structural and facade design, 3D modeling, and drawing production.
Responsibilities Include: Drafted all design assist documents, including splice details, connection details, and glass fabrication piece drawings. Built 3D fabrication level structural steel models for coordination. Built 3D fabrication level glass connection models for coordination. Attended ongoing pre-construction meetings with the design team.
